Where is Camping U Casone?

Camping U Casone is on the Route de la mer, 20240 Ghisonaccia, on the east coast of Upper Corsica, 3 km from the town centre. Allow about 1 h 30 from Bastia port or airport and 1 hour from Porto-Vecchio port. See how to get here.

When is the campsite open?

The campsite is open from 1 May to early October. It closes between 8 and 10 October depending on the season.

How far is the beach?

The beach is 700 m away. You can get there on foot, by bike or by kayak along the canal that runs past the campsite to the sea.

What is the campsite’s rating?

U Casone is a 3-star campsite and has held the EU Ecolabel since 2023. The residence is rated as a 2-star tourist residence.

What accommodation do you offer?

Pitches of around 100 m² for tents, vans, caravans and motorhomes; luxury lodges of 55 m² for 5 or 7 people, wooden lodges for 4 people (new for 2026), eco lodges, safari tents for 2 to 4 people and mobile homes for 4 people. In the residence: chalets, mini villas and apartments for 4 or 6 people.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome on the pitches and in several accommodation types, for a nightly supplement. Please contact us to check for the accommodation you have chosen.

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes, there are two pools: the main pool next to the bar-restaurant and a smaller one in the residence. The pools are not heated: the water is a little cool in May, then pleasantly warm for the rest of the season thanks to the sun.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available at reception, the bar, the restaurant and around the pool. It is not available in the accommodation.

What are the reception opening hours?

Reception is open from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm in high season, and from 8:30 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm in low season. Outside these hours, a mobile number (+33 6 84 50 11 68) is available if needed.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Arrivals take place during reception opening hours, and departures before 11 am.

Is there a restaurant?

Yes. The restaurant-pizzeria is open from mid-June to mid-September, every evening from 7 pm, with takeaway pizzas. Breakfast is served every morning throughout the season.

Can I buy groceries on site?

Yes: the campsite mini-market is open every morning in July and August (fresh bread, pastries, fruit and vegetables, Corsican products and essentials). The rest of the season, there is a small supermarket 500 m from the campsite, and the centre of Ghisonaccia is 3 km away.

What activities are available?

On site: table tennis, volleyball and pétanque tournaments, a playground, kayak rental, evening entertainment in high season and a massage room. Nearby: the Pinia forest, beaches, hiking and canyoning.

Is the campsite accessible for people with reduced mobility?

The pitches are accessible and an adapted shower room is available on the campsite. The interiors of the apartments are not suitable for wheelchairs: please contact us to find the right accommodation.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Pillows and blankets are provided. Bed linen can be rented (€12 for a single bed, €15 for a double bed), as well as a towel kit (€12).

Which payment methods do you accept?

Cash, bank card, cheques, bank transfers and ANCV holiday vouchers (up to 30% of the total amount).
