What to do from Ghisonaccia?
Activities to discover in Eastern Corsica
On the sea side, sandy beaches as far as the eye can see!
The Ghisonaccia region is far too underestimated for its beaches.
However, just a few meters from the campsite, there are some very beautiful golden sand beaches.
These long and wide beaches are very popular with families and children, for their calm and clarity.
Here, no sharp rocks or banks of posidonia that can scare apprentice swimmers, our beaches are beautiful and safe!
Among the most beautiful beaches in the region, Vignale beach is undoubtedly the most popular because it is immediately accessible by road. The beaches of Oru and Erba Rossa are the closest to the campsite, located at the mouth of the canal running alongside our land.
On the other side of Fiumorbu is Calzarellu beach (municipality of Prunelli du FIumorbu) on the edge of the Gradugine pond.
Heading north towards the ponds of Diana and Urbino, you will find the beaches of Pinia. Wild and unspoilt, accessible only by a track, these beaches are the little jewels of the region.
Activities and water sports
With such beautiful beaches, how can you not be tempted by water sports in Ghisonaccia.
Many activities are offered along the beaches such as jet ski rental (for pure rental but also in supervised hikes).
It is also possible to practice kayaking from the campsite (you will have to carry it a few meters on the sand of the beach between the canal and the sea!)
For those who wish to discover scuba diving, it is possible to do introductory diving and explorations, by contacting the clubs in the surrounding towns.
Finally, you can go along the beaches of the region and explore the south of Corsica by renting a boat or opting for a sea trip.
On land, villages and mountains
You are in one of the best possible places to verify the adage: a mountain in the sea.
Everywhere in Ghisonaccia, you can see the short distance between our beaches and the highest peaks visible in the background.
It will be easy for you to explore the villages of the interior, in the Fiumorbu towards Ghisoni or in the nearby Corte region.
Visiting these villages will allow you a real immersion in the heart of Corsica, welcoming and authentic.
The most beautiful hikes in the Renosu massif and beyond…
If you want to take advantage of your stay at the campsite in Ghisonaccia to go hiking in the famous Corsican mountain, the closest and most accessible massif is that of Renoso, taking its name from its highest point Monte Renosu at 2352 m above sea level.
It is climbed from the Ghisoni-Capannelle ski resort, about 1h15 by car from the campsite.
For those who do not want to climb so high, the superb Bastani lake (on the same route) will be an equally remarkable hiking destination and accessible to most people.
Other hikes, simpler and lower, are accessible in the Fiumorbu region.
Without forgetting of course the proximity of the neighboring massifs: Corte to the north and Bavella to the south!
